Out of a partnership between the Brazilian Bible Society (SBB) and the American Bible Society (SBA), this edition of the Holy Bible offers the biblical text in two languages: English and Portuguese. The translations chosen for the bilingual work were Good News Translation (GNT) and New Translation in the Language of Today (NTLH), both characterized by having a simple language, closer to that spoken by the majority of the population that uses these languages. In the publication, the translations were arranged in two columns, allowing the reader to compare the biblical text in both languages side by side. The work is ideal for those who want to read the biblical text and, at the same time, to learn or to deepen in the learning of these languages.
